Another thing to consider is how strong you want your hose to be. An Example of this would be the difference between heavy-duty and medium-duty. As you increase in strength the weight of the hose increases, however, as you increase in strength your hose is going to be able to withstand the elements better. Besides concrete or rocks, a stronger hose will also last longer in the sun.
